Thanks to Izu’s top wasabi farmer, our guests can enjoy an exclusive wasabi harvest experience. After a short drive, you will embark on a scenic 20-minute hike to reach the beautiful wasabi fields.

Once there, you can harvest fresh wasabi, grate it on the spot, and taste its unmatched flavor.

As a special souvenir, you’ll get a wasabi root you personally harvested. This one-of-a-kind adventure allows you to experience the sacred fields, cultivated with immense care, offering an

unforgettable connection to nature.


What is Odoriko?


"The Odoriko, or 'Dancing Girl of Izu,' refers to a traveling dancer from a troupe featured in a Nobel Prize-winning novel by Yasunari Kawabata. This was the story's setting, and the

region remains closely connected to its literary heritage."
